Kite making and flying is an age old tradition in India. We want our children to know about the rich cultural heritage of our country. LUCKNOW PUBLIC SCHOOL, AHIYA RAIPUR organized a kite making activity for Pre-Primary students. The students participated in the activity with full zeal and fervor. It was a wonderful opportunity for the children to showcase their creativity, manifested in the form of beautiful, vibrant kites made by them. Here are the some glimpses.

Tearing is a fine motor skill that requires some practice when a child tears a piece of paper; he/she improves hand strength and endurance in the small muscles. A Tearing and Pasting Activity was conducted in class KG. Children tore red paper into small pieces and pasted them in Heart picture. This activity helped to develop creativity and fine motor skills. All the children enthusiastically took part in the activity. The children enjoyed the activity. The teachers also encouraged and appreciated the efforts of the kids.

‘No human masterpiece has been created without great labour’
May 1st is celebrated every year as International Labour Day. This day has its origin from the Labour Union Movement in the U.S. This day which marks the celebrations of the working class and the labourers has put an end to their exploitation and unfair treatment. Thus, Lucknow Public School, Ahiyaraipur-Raebareli celebrated this day by paying respect to the people who work for the School. Beautiful cards designed by the students and gifts from the school distributed to the housekeeping staff and the supporting staff of the School by the Principal, Mr. Amit Pathak.
Sports day where students come together to showcase their athletic abilities and compete against each other. “A champion is someone who gets up when he can’t" with this spirit ,the kids of Lucknow Public School, Ahiyaraipur participated in various sports like hurdle race, three leg race, carom, chess and many other sports and showcased their athletic skills on 27 April, 2024. World Heritage Day is celebrated every year on April 18 to raise awareness about the importance of preserving cultural and natural landmarks. These landmarks are essential to our understanding of history, culture, and the environment. Celebrating Heritage Day at school is a great way to promote cultural awareness and respect among students and staff. Every year on April 18th, the world celebrates World Heritage Day
or the International Day for Monuments and Sites. This significant day serves as a reminder of our responsibility to protect and preserve the irreplaceable cultural and natural treasures we’ve inherited from the past.
Lucknow Public School, Ahiyaraipur-Raebareli, celebrated World Heritage Day on April 18, 2024, to leave footprints of history on the pages of time. A special assembly was held that focused on heritage’s meaning and the need to conserve and preserve it. A quiz was organized in which Questions related to our natural and cultural heritage were asked. Students have also participated in Posters-Making Competition on different Heritage sites.
