The Constitution Day was celebrated in our school on 26th November, 2023 to create awareness on the Indian Constitution. The programme commenced with a Prayer Service, praying for our country, its leaders and all the citizens. The significance of the day was given through a skit, followed by a cultural programme highlighting the Preamble of our Constitution, the major principles of our Constitution and the need to preserve the National Integrity of our country. As a mark of respect, a fitting tribute was paid to Dr B R Ambedkar, who played a pivotal role in drafting the Constitution. The auspicious day concluded with the singing of National Anthem.
Magic is a performing art that entertains the audience through seemingly impossible feats conducted by the use of tricks, illusions, sleight of hand, and well practised moves. Since times immemorial, magic has been a source of curiosity and fascination for children. There was a Magic Show organized for the students of Grades I to V. The magician, Mr. Sikandar, performed several tricks which left the children astonished and mesmerized. He called up a few children and performed astounding tricks with them. The entire area sprang up with the cheers and laughter. The students were also given tips on how to play some simple tricks.

The Diwali celebrations at school often mean a festive look with diyas and lanterns adorning the class. The students of Lucknow Public School celebrated the festival of Diwali with great enthusiasm. To mark the occasion, an assembly was organised on 10th November 2023 by the students of the school. It started with a solemn prayer to the almighty and a beautiful thought that filled our hearts and minds with love and harmony. The students talked about the significance of the festival - how good always conquered the evil and also about why and how Diwali is celebrated across India. They also shared the guidelines of environment-friendly options for celebrating Diwali. Wonderful presentation of the assembly by the students instilled a sense of victory of light over darkness. The students of continued the Diwali celebration with various Inter house competitions .The entire presentation filled the hearts of all students with the spirit of Diwali and they enjoyed the celebrations wholeheartedly.

Lucknow Public School School, Raebareily celebrated Children’s day, with great festive fervour, to commemorate the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. The programme began with informative and inspirational speeches by the teachers. The following programme had a series of interesting and exciting events, all planned meticulously for complete entertainment. Teachers enthralled the audience with their energetic and graceful moves with their dance. The children came dressed in casual ethnic dresses and relished their food with classmates. Various activities were organised for the children as the school campus buzzed with exciting Cricket match, Games, Songs, Dance and joy. Children’s Day was marked with grand splendour and fiesta as it was a day wherein fun and frolic dominated.
LUCKNOW PUBLIC SCHOOL, AHIYA RAIPUR has celebrated World Ozone Day on 16th September, 2023. Every year on September 16th we celebrate World Ozone Day. Students of class VI-VIII have organized an act to remind the world about the depletion of the ozone layer and its dangers. The ozone layer of the Earth protects us from the harmful ultraviolet rays of the sun. Unfortunately, our race for maintaining a high quality of life has led to its depletion. On 1st January 1989 the Montreal Protocol came into force to stop the depletion and reduce the usage of substances that cause holes in our protective blanket. Sustaining the Ozone layer is hence the collective responsibility of all the nations.
Clothes Folding Activity was conducted with great zeal and enthusiasm in Lucknow Public School, Ahiyaraipur on 22nd August. 2023 for classes I-II under the guidance of their class teachers.Students brought their clothes and were guided by the class teachers about the proper way to fold them. Students did as instructed by their class teachers and learnt how to fold their clothes step by step.
This activity encourages students to spend lots of loosely structured time purposefully and wisely in activities that promote:
Learning new words and gaining language skills.
Using large and small muscle groups.
Following directions.
Counting and sequencing.
Identifying similarities and differences.
Grouping like items.

The Investiture Ceremony is a platform to showcase the leadership skills and abilities of the students and is the most prestigious ceremony in the schedule of school events.The Investiture Ceremony marks a significant beginning of the new academic session. The council prepares to don the mantle of leadership and discharge the responsibilities entrusted upon them by the school. A true leader works for a cause in the spirit of selfless service and not for applause. It signifies the reliance and confidence that the school consigns in the newly appointed office bearers.Lucknow Public School, Ahiya Raipur Branch held its Investiture Ceremony for the session 2023-24 with great pomp and dignity. It was conducted with a high degree of earnestness and passion. Newly formed council- Head Boy and Head Girl along with sports secretaries, House Captains, Vice Captains and Prefects were honored and given badges and sashes by our respected Principal.

Flag Colouring Activity was conducted on 6th August, 2023 for classes Nursery & K.G.The students very excitedly participated in the event and made beautiful flags. As per the prior instructions, they came with all the required materials and colours. Alongwith the conduction of the activity, they were told about the significance of each colour in our national flag as well the Ashok Chakra.
Students learnt that in the national flag of India the top band is of Saffron colour, indicating the strength and courage of the country. The white middle band indicates peace and truth with Dharma Chakra. The last band is green in colour shows the fertility, growth and auspiciousness of the land.

Undoubtedly, the fact and figure about India have always been a matter of research and inspiration globally. To take a short glimpse on the same and to make the students aware about its Lucknow Public School organized a quiz –Quest Enigma on 10/08/23 to provide a platform to the students to explore a nation which is a land of spiritually and have a glorified history. Seven branches of LPS participated in the competition in preliminary round (phase -I), in which four were selected for the Phase –II round and the results were-Ahiyaraipur Raibareilly stood First, LPS –Sector I grab the second position, LPS Unnao stood Third and consolation to LPS Sector D. The Quiz completion was a great success and definitely it will have encouraged students to participate in more such competition in future.
Badminton is a much-admired sport which requires strength, endurance, as well as mental capabilities leading to self-discipline and healthy lifestyle. To provide an opportunity to the students to showcase their skills & inculcate into them spirit of sportsmanship, Lucknow Public School organized an Inter-Branch Badminton Championship on 29th & 30th July at Shri C.P Singh Memorial Auditorium. The entire LPS family consisting of nine branches participated enthusiastically for the primary, junior & senior category. The match began with a lot of enthusiasm displayed not only by the players but also by the spectators. The result of tournament is as follows:
LPS, Sec I branch bagged winners title followed by LPS, South City & LPS, Sec D branch in the Junior Category for Boys. While on the other hand, LPS, Sec D branch emerged as a winner followed by LPS, Jankipuram and LPS, Sec I in the Junior Category for Girls. LPS Raebareli won the match followed by LPS South City & LPS, Sec D in the Senior Category for Boys. However, LPS, Raebareli retained the first position again for the Senior Category for Girls followed by LPS, Eldeco & LPS, Jankipuram respectively. The certificates were presented to all the winners & the tournament was quite a learning experience for all the participating teams. The fun-filled day was a true treat to the eyes of all Badminton fans present there.
Van Mahotsav is an annual tree-planting festival that is celebrated in India every year in the first week of July. The festival was inaugurated by the Union Minister for Agriculture, K. M. Munshi back in 1950. Today, the festival is celebrated with great enthusiasm, and schools play an essential role in carrying out the message of conserving the environment and preserving our natural resources by making an effort to conserve them. Celebrating the festival in our school helped in educating our school's young minds about the significance of trees and how to take care of them. Van Mahotsav celebration included many activities like poster making, plays and many more which aimed to educate our learners.
National Doctor's Day is an important occasion to celebrate and appreciate the contributions of doctors and medical professionals in our society. Our school celebrated National Doctor's day by introducing career guidance and showcasing doctor's importance in our society through play presented by our tiny toads.
International Science Day is distinguished to spread a notable message about the importance of science used in the daily life of the people. This event was a great platform for students to create awareness of Science and Technology. Our students exhibited various Science projects, models, charts based on Programme of Inquiry and Science Fun Activities.

It is an art to enhance the ability of creativity in children to create different shapers through clay. Lucknow Public School organised clay modelling activity for tiny toads of class LKG for a better and creative learning.

LUCKNOW PUBLIC SCHOOL has conducted Hindi handwriting competition for the students of Grade I and II on September 7, 2022. The competition was held to encourage the students to use their talents at calligraphy and writing skills. It was a pleasant sight to watch those tiny hands working with their pencils and erasers to create a letter as beautiful as they could.
The paper tearing activity is an interactive and artistic exercise that promotes creativity, fine motor skills, and imagination among students. It involves tearing and manipulating paper to create unique shapes, designs, or even collaborative artworks. This activity encouraged our students to think outside the box and explore different textures, colors, and patterns. Our little ones created beautiful patter of our National Flag and performed this activity which provided them the freedom to be creative and expressive.
Rakhi also called as Raksha Bandhan symbolises the true love and bond between brothers and sisters. Rakhi has deep significance and it has been used for the protection of the person who ties it on his hand from mythological times. Keeping this tradition in heart our tiny toads showcased their talent by making beautiful and creative hand-made Rakhi using craft material and waste material. The school authorities appreciated every active participant and motivated all the little kids.
Poster Making Activity was conducted based on theme *Conservation of energy* which is essential in preserving our natural resources for future generations. We can achieve energy conservation through simple practices such as turning off electronics and reducing water heating costs, among others. Our students encourage energy conservation by participating in poster making competition and putting their thoughts of energy conservation on posters.
